Ingredients
  

Cinnastix

  • 1 cup Protein Flour Co. All-Purpose Protein Flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter softened — about 1/4 block
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Icing (Optional to dip)

  • ½ block 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons ¼ stick butter, softened
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ tablespoon vanilla powder or 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons milk adjust for texture

Instructions
 

Cinnastix

  • In a bowl, mix together the flour, milk, softened butter, eggs, salt, cinnamon, sugar, and baking powder until a soft batter forms.
  • Transfer the batter into an icing or piping bag (a cupcake filler works too).
  • On a piece of parchment paper, pipe the batter into straight lines about 4 inches long to form the sticks.
  • Carefully lower the parchment paper with the batter into hot oil in a deep fryer. After a few seconds, the sticks will float to the top — remove the parchment paper with tongs or shake off excess oil and reuse it as needed.
  • Fry each batch for about 4 minutes, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
  • Prepare a bowl of cinnamon-sugar mixture. Once fried, immediately toss the warm sticks in the cinnamon sugar to coat.
  • Serve warm and enjoy as is, or dip them in the cream cheese frosting below!

Icing

  • Whisk or blend together until smooth and creamy. Adjust milk for desired texture. Perfect for dipping!
